The GE GEVO Series, or ES44 Series locomotives come in both AC and DC versions, and are used by virtually every Class I railroad in North America. These locomotives contain many of the family traits introduced in the Dash 8 Series of locomotives that cemented GE's place as the top builder in North America. GE added the latest technology to it's proven locomotives to create a new class that is safer, more fuel efficient and less expensive to maintain. The Fox Valley Model version of this locomotive represents not only the state of the art in real world locomotives, but also the state of the are in N Scale model locomotives.
